A REAL ESTATE AGENT WEBSITE

The Summary

We met Jess, a local real estate agent, through one of our first marketing campaigns. We were commissioned to work on her real estate business and SiO Contracting. On a side note, she is fantastic to work with. We highly recommend calling her if you are buying/selling a house or doing a renovation.

As a Portland Webdesign agency that thrives on inspiring, educating, and promoting women within our company, we are genuinely inspired by her work ethic, determination, and hard work. She is a rockstar!

Our Website Design Approach

KEY CONSIDERATIONS WHEN DESIGNING A WEBSITE FOR A LOCAL REALTOR

  1. Location-Specific Services: Local real estate agents should ensure that their website includes relevant information about the local community and its amenities. This includes images of the city and local attractions and detailed descriptions of the various neighborhoods and homes available for sale.
  2. Optimization for Mobile Devices: Optimizing a website for mobile devices is essential for local real estate agents. Many potential home buyers and sellers now search for properties and agents on their phones and tablets. That sector is only growing, so having a website that looks good on these devices is critical.
  3. Search Functionality: A good search function is essential for local real estate agents. Home buyers should be able to search for properties based on various criteria, such as price, location, and size. To provide visitors with a one-stop experience, we used an API that provided local real estate listings for a minimal monthly fee.
  4. Easy Contact Information: It should be easy for potential home buyers to contact the real estate agent. This means having a contact form, an email address, and a phone number prominently displayed on the website.
  5. Local Reviews: Local real estate agents should make sure that their website includes reviews from previous clients. This will help potential home buyers feel more comfortable doing business with the agent. As a respected agent in the portland community, Jessica has many clients, referrals, and testimonials. This made our job a lot easier becasue all we had to do was find a creative way to display all the great things people had to say about Jess.

What is an API?

API stands for Application Programming Interfaces. APIs in website design has become increasingly popular in recent years. APIs are a great way to add functionality to websites and applications without writing code. They provide a way for developers to integrate third-party services into websites and applications, making them more powerful and efficient.

Real estate APIs are Application Programming Interfaces that allow our designers to access and integrate real estate data with other applications. This data can include property listings, rental listings, home valuations, market trends, and mortgage rates. The APIs allow us to build applications and websites with real estate data and features, including search, map-based search, property comparison, and more.

At annigra design, we do not charge extra to add an API when we design and build real estate websites.

The Brief

Similar to most agents who work for a large brokerage, Jess had a “web page” with johnlscott.com

However, that page’s design and content could have been more desirable. Jessica wanted us to design and build her a beautiful website that showcased her years of service to the Portland community and also help get more clients.
