LAW OFFICE OF CHARLES M GREEFF

The Summary

A law firm’s website is an essential marketing tool for its legal practice. It is the first point of contact for potential clients and provides a platform to showcase the firm’s experience and expertise. We were honored when Eva Greff commissioned us to build their first website after being in business for over thirty years.

Our Website Design Approach

We focused on designing the online application form and then focused on creating a beautiful website that conveys the personality of Charles and his Law Office.

Designing an online application form

The Law Office of Charles M Greeff had a paper application they would send to people interested in signing up. It was our responsibility to design an online application to streamline this process. When creating the online application form, we had a few key elements in mind:

  • Clarity and simplicity: The form should be easy to understand and complete, with clear instructions and labels for each field. Avoid using complicated language or technical terms that could confuse the applicant.
  • User-friendly design: The form should be visually appealing, with a clean and organized layout that guides the applicant through the process. Using color and font can help make the form more engaging and easier to read.
  • Accessibility: The form should be accessible to all users. This means using a clear and easy-to-read font and ensuring the form is keyboard accessible.
  • Error prevention and correction: The form should be designed to prevent errors or mistakes by using dropdown menus or checkboxes. If errors occur, provide clear error messages and allow applicants to correct their mistakes easily.

Security and privacy: The form should be designed with security in mind to protect applicants’ personal and confidential information. The use of encryption, secure storage, and secure communication methods can help prevent data breaches and protect applicants’ privacy.

Giving the website a personal touch

At Annigra Design, we always try to add the business owner’s/client’s personality to the website we design. We believe it is essential that potential customers get that vibe.

During our client intake meeting, we ask many questions from our clients, and this time was no different. Here are some things we learned Eva and Charles love to do

  • touring the Pacific North West
  • The Ocean
  • Hiking
  • Camping

Instead of designing a cookie-cutter Law Firm website that looks boring, we included our clients’ passions and hobbies outside of work in the interaction design. We did this by using high-quality images that tell a story.

The Brief

It is always great when a client comes to us knowing exactly what they are looking for. Eva’s instructions were clear and concise; she wanted a well-designed, informative, and easy to navigate website. one of her key requirements was to have an electronic form and data collection system for their landlord training classes.
